BRANDON & BRITTANY johnson
Brandon and Brittany met each other at Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL in 2003. Up to that point, Brittany had lived in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania her entire life and Brandon grew up in Fort Myers, FL. They met the first day of college, became friends and by the end of their senior year they were married. They moved out to Northern California and were youth pastors for 5 years and then eventually moved to Conroe, Texas where they both worked at The Ark Church for 7 years. Brandon was the Youth and Community Outreach Pastor at The Ark Church and during their time there, both he and Brittany sensed God calling them to start a church. They received the blessing from the leadership at The Ark in Conroe to plant a life-giving church in Galveston County and moved down to start The Ark Church | Gulf Coast.

Brandon and Brittany met each other at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. In fact, they met the very first day of college! They became friends and by the end of their senior year they got married. For their first full-time ministry assignment together, God led them across the country to Northern California where they were youth pastors. They eventually moved to Conroe, Texas and both worked at The Ark Church. Brandon began as the Youth Pastor and then eventually took on the role of Community Pastor. During their time there, both he and Brittany sensed God calling them to start a church. After years of praying and preparing for this, they received the blessing from the leadership at The Ark in Conroe and moved down to Galveston County to start The Ark Church | Gulf Coast.
Ever since the Johnson’s moved to Galveston County, they sensed God leading them to specifically invest in the children and to make an impact on the community. They began partnering with many of the local schools, sports programs and government officials with the goal of helping both adults and students find Jesus and reach their full potential. The Ark Church is fully committed to teaching kids to love God and empowering parents to be the best parents they can be! As a church, we are willing to do everything we can to invest in this next generation of kids to see them reach their full potential! We believe healthy family’s and churches improve our community and make people’s lives better. Brandon and Brittany are a blessing to our church and Galveston County!

Jason and his wife Tanya have been serving in ministry for over 20 years and were a part of The Ark Church from the very beginning! Jason grew up in South Houston and his marketplace experience, leadership and communication gifts are huge a blessing to our church family.
